how to DISABLE NAVIGATION on the UPS DIAD 6 (yes it's possible)

i just put a face cloth folded up at the base of the cradle. it also makes it way easier to pull the diad out of the cradle since it only goes 2/3 of the way down.

UPS has changed the way the navigation starts. Now it starts up even if the cradle has no power!

It's only as good as garbage in is garbage out, try to get my pu time change an nobody know how to?so the diad think I am screwing around an missing my pu time! It's think I too early for pu or too late for pu! As I said before garbage in an garbage out!

Can you over ride the delivery stop if you have too? I was told to just follow the diad program? Does it know some business in a residential area? If I have a bulk stop, I am going to do that first regardless if it 25th stop from now! How does it know what time all my business close at?

Dude, mine always hard crashes and then crashes multiple times trying to reboot at 1 specific stop during my day. It also slows down or crashes at bulk pickups (20 or more pieces)

Swipe up from the bottom of your diad screen push the square then swipe close to restart the app. Faster than restarting the whole diad.

Reasons for freezing: signal, messages, frequent usage. Know your next 3 stops have back up gps to combat loading time . Completely close and restart. Tons of good features outside of freezing.

Yeah I deliver in an area that gets no service so I don’t get any messages until I reach a little pocket that does get service and then the diad absolutely spazzes out

@@johnnywaffles2482 if you see the black screen of death about you pop up immediately pull out you have a 1.5 second window to pull and cancel the black screen of death. If Diad starts going slow reset it. Use the maps especially if you want to find a stop out of sequence. I usually wait to remote scan those just because Diad trips

He might be a sweep or an air driver. They probably send him out with like 40 stops and then he goes to meet other drivers that won’t make it back to the facility before air and ground are due back and takes the pieces off of them. My facility has 3 drivers like that

You’re wrong on how the diad connects. It also doesn’t charge in the cradle that I know of. The only way it starts the diad is by a magnet that the diad slides past. That’s how I get nav during peak in trucks that don’t have cradles. Rub a magnet on the back of the diad above the trigger on the hump and your gps will start. Do it again to get out of nav
