This is basically a show for the camera. Telematics has a few issues, for instance when you hand you keys to a part timer upon returning to the building in the PM. If the part time employee pulls your car out of the building with the bulk head door open and you (the driver) haven't punched out yet, then telematics books that distance against the driver. The Wig headed dude did actually give a warning that he was going to hop out of the package car before exiting....most sups don't. That can be an alarming distraction as you are beginning to back.
@bwakel3103 жыл бұрын
It goes by the Return to building time.
@richardsnyder8423 жыл бұрын
@@bwakel310 Maybe the Telematics issue has been cleaned up. I have been retired for a while now. The biggest enhancement to package car over the decades that I drove were the conversion to the original DIAD from paper and the addition of the EDD system. Telematics and ORION never enhanced service to the customer or safety. ORION , if anything made customer service worse and Telematics would often have a package car driver on the defensive about an issue that wasn't broken. Like a pickup that was actually located about a mile from where Telematics, GPS and ORION said it was located. Hang in there I'm still proud of my former company.
