Nice job! This is a great little knife. Simple design, deep carry, easy to disassemble and service, a fair price and with a little care it will last you for a long time.

Really good point about how everyone can give their gear some TLC above and beyond what the factory might have done.

Yeah, first time I cleaned mine, there was a lot of nasty gunk in the bearings. Additionally, some of the bearings fell out. I panicked a little, thinking I had lost some of them. But it cleaned up easily, was not that bad to reassemble, and the centering was unaffected. Still smooth as butter.

I love that knife. The action is stupidly good. Not my favorite shape from a usability standpoint, but whatever. I'm glad you're taking a look at it.

You put locktite on the screws for the liner how can those screws back out with handle on it. Is there a cut out in the handle

They can't back out completely, but they could loosen and cause play.

Thank you very much for this video. I have this knife and love it. Probably the best $50 bucks I've ever spent on a budget knife. And it uses Sandvick 14C28N steel for the blade, which I'm a huge fan of Sandvick. It can take a razor sharp, wicked edge with minimal work. Now I know how to take it apart and make it even better. Once again thank you for this very informative video. By the way, where did you get the screwdriver you're using and the oil you're using to lube it up?

The red thing you saw on the screws were not Loctite, it was red nail polish as it is much cheaper and gives the screws a personal touch...😂😂

Is it just me or does anyone else always end up doing like a 16th of a turn back and forth trying to nail the ideal pivot tension when fiddling with their knives?😂

Hey Nick, you should try and get your hands on the new 486 Saibu. It is a Japanese knife that was made in collaboration with Benchmade. Also the Grovemade Titanium Minimalist is an interesting knife as well.

Hussar? Like the Hungarian and Polish cavalry of the 15th century? It's pronounced "Hu-ssar" not "Hussy" :D @NickShabazz

kuba08073 kuba08073 I was going to correct myself but a bit of dusting on the old history book proves that we're both right, so I'll modify the comment to include both, I was mentioning the original source of the name but yes, the Polish winged hussars are the most widely known, funny how I was also going to mention the Polish saber as a reply to my own comment but didn't notice i wrote Hungarian instead, thanks for pointing it out!

First "Ruike" is pronounced "Rake", then "Hussar" is "Who-sar". The world makes no sense.

With a long skinny blade like that, one could slice right through Superman's cape, (like Jim Crochie), no wait that was spitting on his cape, oh well...

For a man who doesn't know how to pronounce jewelry properly, telling a company (or person for that matter) how their name should be pronounced seems quite trollish and disrespectful. For a man who has spoke of tolerance more than once, calling CRKT-cricket or Ruike as roo-eye-key instead of Rake as the company itself has stated many times is offensive. How about pronouncing Siobhan? I guarantee if you have a co-worker with this name you would pronounce it as it should be. If you want to be a comedian, then be a comedian. If you want to provide serious reviews, then please do so, feel free to quip about bad products/craftsmanship/service, but making fun of/disrespecting company names? Feels an awful lot like middle school
