This is the only video I have seen to show removal of TWO rivets from the grill supports. I have a last of the line Mark 4 (2014) and just taking out the outside rivet as per the Ford manual supplied with the car does not give enough leeway to bend the grill/bumper out of the way enough to easily remove and replace the headlamp unit. After watching this video I replaced the headlight unit in 5 minutes. I found that it was helpful to see where the bottom rear locating peg actually went. It goes under a thin steel tab and above a flexible plastic tab. If you put the thick front part of the headlight unit in first you can see where the rear peg is going to go between the two tabs from outside the car. A second later this view disappears and the peg is located and the headlight unit is ready for the screws and rivets to replaced. Incidentally the last of the line Mark 4's with separate LED daytime running lights do not have sidelight bulbs within the headlight unit. When you switch on the "sidelights" the daytime running lights dim and in effect become sidelights and the rear lights come on. Many thanks for an informative and practical video.

Thanks for posting a helpful video. I find removing the headlights from the body very easy, but what I have not worked out how to do is to remove the wiring connector from the back of the unit. Do you know how this is done? There seems to be some kind of locking mechanism. Thanks.

in this version, someone knows if with lights removed its easy to manipulate the daylight?? I have the trend version without daylight installed from factory but with a plastic piece covering the hole. Im thinking about installing myself the daylight without unmount the front fender, across light space... thanks

I didnt have a chance to change it but i tried to to change the "turning lights" and You need to remove the cover and unlock the bulb before You take it.

Actually easier if pull the grill out a little, (same as when you pull the light into corner) and push the inside corner of the light in behind grill, light will then come out very easy. Can do it without removing rivets.

Stop the annoying pointless music the fading in and out and it would improve a good simple guide to headlamp removal.
