Glad you posted this, even if we can't see everything you are doing it still is very informative. All you Z3 videos have been very useful as I have been going through and fixing various things on my wife's 99 M Roadster.

Would be more helpful if you explain what you are doing. Like how you unbolted and which ones to separate the sliders from the seat base.

What did you end up doing? Getting them cleaned or renewed? Can You get these seats restored to be like new?

I got them looking really good, but I wouldn't say that they are "like new". Over time, the leather gets this shiny texture because of all the contaminants. I cleaned them as best as I could with some Gyeon products. I did have a shop replace the bottom leather panel on the driver's seat and fix the bolster.
