Very Nice explanation sir. Please advise how to install heater as some say ??? 1.it shouldn't be placed cross or at an angle. 2.some say it should place vertical or horizontal only but fully submersible. MOST IMPORTANT 👇 3.it should be fully submersible or it will BLAST if water level goes down due to evaporation or most important while cleaning when you switch off and remove it immediately from tank. 4.some say that place the heater vertical in such a way that knob of the heater (to adjust temperature) should be out of the water or it will get jammed at the set degree only and you can't adjust later. Please sir please advise thoroughly to avoid any accidents.

Nice video. However, i totally disagree with the peppering part of discus as it’s normal behaviour for them to adapt to the surroundings . And yes, black spots on the discus are due to Black spot disease and not to be confused with peppering.

Hi Mayur Sir, Thanks for all the content you are sharing. Very informative. I have a situation and hoping that you will be able to help. I got 8 Discus and currently they are in quarantine tank for past 3 days. 6 are doing fine but two of them are looking sick. I see that they are not swimming normally (sometime sidewise , sometime nose down). Question is my hospital tank is already occupied with them, now what should I do, should I move the healthy one in main tank after only three days of quarantine and treat the sick one or treat all of them in hospital tank together. I am guessing Epsom salt treatment will not effect the healthy one and I can treat all of them together and keep them in quarantine tank for at least 15 days before moving them to main tank. Please suggest. Thanks!

As you mentioned "Using sponge filter in bare bottom tank doesn't help in bacteria colonization " I haven't understood this concept . If possible please elaborate because as far i know it do help bacteria to grow as bacteria resides in almost every solid or soft articles and not in water itself provided the water is super clean and chlorine free in particular.

It is not a long term solution, the vermi compost will decay and smell also, better you use latrite or go for a branded soil

so that means, please correct me if i am wrong , that i need to keep my hospital tank ready 24 x 7 just in case i need to transfer my fish if they have any issues like ICH or parasites etc., immediately post transfer . say after a few weeks they develop symptoms and i need to hospitalised the fishes , the tank should be ready isn't it, because if i start from the beginning as detailed in both the videos as you perfectly explained it will take time.

Not really, This depends on the number of tanks and fish you have, if you have many tanks then always good to have a running hospital tank, or good to have a tank that can be used as a hospital tank

I want to setup the tank but due to low budget and high price of soil ,plant I am unable to do that please if it possible please try to provide on some reasonable price ,due to cheap rates most of people will be able to setup his tanks ,lost of people not able to afford and they settled the simple tank and after that unki hobby kam ho jati hai , please do like the jio company ,aadat dal do fir chaye bad me high cost kar dena ,since aquarium hobby is trending now , most of people opened temperary shop on road side
