my jaw dropped when you didn't lock it, just let it spin. GENIOUS!! And very much in my own philosophy! Love this!

Sometimes you're smooth. Sometimes you're rough 😂😂😂😂 I agree, I think everyone is like that from time to time. ✌️

That is a pretty cool piece of driftwood and I like all the details and color you choose. I collected a bag of small driftwood pieces several years ago…I just found it … been looking for a while; it was in the grandkids toy box out in the shop😂 Did a dragonfly but it’s not attached yet …just layed out on the floor. I have a Deodra tree that drops beautiful rose pine cones in the spring. They look like wooden roses. I have been playing with those on various driftwood pieces….loving the natural look! I also have a sweet gum ball tree and have been playing with the little round star cones…. Both these trees are messy trees…I used to hate them but I’ve learned to embrace them. TYFS!

@tinaknutsen becky, so much for checking out the channel and my videos means a lot. It’s amazing how we hold onto things and don’t know the purpose and then eventually it hits us and we become very inspired and creative. I had to look up the name of that tree you’ve mentioned DEODAR? Is that in the Carolinas? I looked on Google it’s a really beautiful tree so I’m trying to imagine the pinecone Jimmy that sounds really cool if you ever get around to finishing it or somewhere in the process, shoot me over a picture. I’d love to see it, have a great day

Thank you for sharing your technique, I loveeeee to work on drift wood 🪵 it’s my passion, I have been lucky enough to find a several beautiful pieces , but I always have trouble desiring what finish to use . What do you used in this piece?

Hey Jenny!! Thank you so much. As far as the finish it depends on the wood, what your final product is, and just what you prefer! I have a few videos about types of finish on the channel. Take care!!
