Here’s a good question.I just purchased last month the auto art midnight purple 3 z-tune skyline gtr 1/18 scale.I have yet to find a display case that gives the option to hold the car down to the case.I’m not too keen on just putting it in there and that’s it.what if you bump into the case and knock it over or the car moves and gets damaged.

Those are beautiful. I don’t know any case that would hold the car down. If I recall correctly the autoart boxes look like display cases. I’m sure those are held down.

So, here’s my suggestion. Get an LED 1:18 display from eBay. My best brand is ILLUMICASE. It has extremely bright lighting and sufficient spacing. As long as you have a shelf or even a dressor to put it on, you don’t need anything to hold the car down. I never had an autoart car but I know they are expensive. I actually had a green light mad max interceptor fall off my shelf after my shelf collapsed. But considering your box doesn’t have a window to display the car, there isn’t really any other option to hold your car down. The only ultimate alternative is buying a display cabinet from ikea for $150. It’s heavy, sturdy and keeps the dust away for your valuables. Let me know if this helps.
