How to dissemble a YZ250 2 stroke engine

Step by step video of how we dissemble my Yamaha YZ250 motocross engine before replacing the crank and bearings. We took out the engine in the previous video and will be rebuilding it all and then test it on the dyno. Feel free to ask me any questions.

Yeah we have been doing the shooting and I started putting it together but i had to leave it to the side cause of work and other things, hopefully I will get back at it soon

so you don't hone the cylinder you would just go to the next oversize that meets the out of round and taper of the cylinder? seems odd.

ShnitzlHaus if your cylinder is out of round or scratch, you need replating. Get it mesured and check by a professional and he will tell you what size piston you should use

Its hard to tell before trying, some engines are easier than others. If your engine is fairly new, chances are you won't be able. You can try with a mallet, but be careful not to mess up your crank.
