You've covered a lot of practical advice in a relative short video, top stuff. Personally, one area I've had to focus on is avoiding my knee taking the brunt of the landing and trying to my make the side of my body more flat so the impact is distributed. Looking forward to your next video.

Nice tutorial. Basic training in Judo helps alot to land perfectly without pain or any injuries, no matter how complicated you have to dive.

Honestly, I'm a good goalkeeper. Sometimes I save the shots but sometimes I also concede. I have good reflexes and handling but my only problem is diving. My opponents always choose to shoot at my far side because they know I can't dive that far and my height is also a disadvantage. Thanks to your videos, I'm slowly improving.

I really have struggle learning mid saves with diving and jumping at the same time with full power,instead when I jump it makes me a little bit high in altitude instead of going like next to the ball and saving it mid,I also struggle sometimes that even if I dive my legs arent fully spread or high at all like my body + I still feel pain a little bit when I dive 😅

Don't ever land on your knees. You may get hurt quite badly. Go and watch the whole video where it explains how to make sure to not land on your knees. Practice landing on a soft surface like a bed and once you get more confident start to land on grass or astro. Force yourself to NOT land on your knees but rather on your side. So you don't get hurt

sense i moved into a property a year ago we had to remove over 100 locus trees so i cant dive and theres also rocks everywhere i only have tuesday and thursday to learn how to dive but i bring what i learn from diving to practice

so to get this straight, i have to do the 2 steps on second step i bend my knee about to spring for the ball. i then outstretch my arms in the direction of the ball and spring for the ball. W grip. then i land on my side not knees? Is this correct?

You would spring and outstretch at the same time. This is a common misconception. You don't land on your knee however your knee can be the first thing to touch the ground. It's dangerous for your knees to embrace the impact. So you can ensure the side of the knee touches the ground first to control the landing however it's better if your side hits the ground first. Other than that you are correct

I don't feel pain but sometimes it's just a blunt force which doesn't hurt. I only feel pain if I bruised my side due to hard ground

@@SolarIsHereOfficial shouldn't feel sting. Check with your doctor because it may be a muscle issue or your side may be bruised. If you play on hard ground then it may inflict pain

Make sure you spring. lots of keepers do a 2 step shuffle and don't spring or they spring with their back leg which isn't beneficial.

Try to do more explosive exercises to get more power out of your dives. Wide steps take too long to get to the ball. It's all about speed and power. You need to be quick with your shuffle and explosive with your dive.
