for multiplication and division you just need to multiply them, example: 2x4= 8 4x3= 12 You don't need the same denominator (the bottom number) 2x4 *4*x*3* (in this case) for division there is something called a reciprocal, heres an example (heres how to solve a division problem) 7x4 3x6 in this problem a reciprocal is just flipping the last 2 numbers, 4 and 6. So the new problem would be... 7x6=42 = mixed fraction pronunciation: 3 Wholes and 10 out of 12 3x4=12 = then multiply them for division for addition and subtraction you need the same denominator, so... 3+5= 8 7+7= 14 It's like simple addition and subtraction but in different ways. Hope this helps 😁
