I used the Target blanket for my upholster and it was great for the first few months of use! Super soft and cozy. But it became my cats favorite place to sleep and it has gotten so gross with cat hair and stuff stuck in the fabric. I think for a decorative chair the sherpa is great but for use and pets it may not stay in the best condition for long term use.

I knowwwwwww. You get a ton of fabric for $25 if you go the blanket route. I know it’s technically “Sherpa” but it gives the same vibes. I hope you try it!

I have a brown suede chair just like this and curious what you do with it. You did not thrift the material? Okay bought some blankets. This came off really well and you handy with that stapler gun and sewing machine and putting in a zipper. The chair is beautiful and rate being a no doggy chair, I know easier said than done.
