omg I seriously thanku 4 this vid. I've been searching 4 this particular tutorial. I wanted someone 2 do this 4 me because I was afraid with my hair type & length plus they charge a ridiculous amount depending on the length of ur natural hair. Another way to stop the itch (I had to learn it myself) is to soak all of the hair in ACV and warm water a few days before you do you're hair. I add a little shampoo/conditioner to the water as well.

I am sorry, my teacher lied to me I just did my own research because I wanted to know the history of this style ( i deleted my comment) it turns out that " the followers of themselves "dreads" signifying that they had dread, fear, or respect of God". That is just a pea size of info but the hairstyle has a very religious background you should search it up its amazing to find out about the oh so popular African styles people (you kno who I am talking about) all of a sudden love so much
