I find it funny how some people think feeding a goldfish, baas fish, is cannibalism. A goldfish and a Baas fish are just as far apart, as humans are from cows, would you call a human eating a cow cannibalism? both humans and cows are mammals, and goldfish and Bass are both fish, yet they are both completely different species. they are in the same group, the same section in the animal kingdom, but that doesn't make it cannibalism, cannibalism, is when an animal, or human, eats a member of their own species, not of a member in their Animal class.

A trick for cutting bell peppers is to lay it on its side, slice off the top (make sure to slice close to the stem base or even slice under the stem base *which ever u prefer*), and then u can just pull out the middle with all the seeds attached with ur hand *notice: there will be a few that will fall off* And there u go, less seeds to clean off! Ur welcome :)

Steff, I have a serious question. So I got a common goldfish from the fair, and I know people don't normally think that that is a good idea. But it's been a week and he does not seem to want to eat. I put him into a small quarantine bowl for him to eat...however he just spits his food (pellets, flakes, and bloodworms now) I put food in his normal tank when I leave, but I'm not sure if he is eating anything. I've tried hand feeding and force feeding, but he is pretty small about 3 inches, I'm not sure what to do. I have other fish that eat with no problem, and I've researched many different reasons why he is acting this way. I've changed his water in his tank every other day, and test it constantly. I'm not sure why he is refusing food or what to do. Any suggestions? I've also examined him in case he had parasites but at this point I'm not sure of anything, he looks fine aside from his eating problem..... help me!

Its a great way to interact with them! They get used to you and learn what human feeds them. I can tell when mine are hungry because they hang out at the surface and "follow me" around haha...

Make sure to remove the shells from the peas! even though you are blending them, they are still not easily digested by the goldfish.

Hey! I have a quick question on goldfish. Currently, I own a 2 year old comet goldfish who lives in a 10 gallon aquarium with a 50 gallon powered filter. I finally have gotten him a large 70 gallon tank, but I am struggling to find a filter that will be inexpensive and still keep the water clean. Also, he is still pretty small but I am hoping with the extra space he might be able to grow a bit now or at least be happier. Would it be alright if I got another comet goldfish to go in this tank with him? or if not another goldfish sense they can get huge is there any other type of fish I could he with him? My tank just looks as little sad with one tiny goldfish in it.

Rat Ratio I would totally get him a couple of friends, typically for a 70 gallon 4-5 goldfish are fine, for the filter part, you could make one yourself, but depending on your diy skills, it might actually cost more, what I would recommend, if you want to simplify things, just get a 50gal rated filter and use that with the existing one. if you're going to be adding new fish be sure to cycle the new filter fully.

Rat Ratio a sumo filter for me is the most efficient for goldfish, it is also the cheapest, but you need to do plenty of research before you make one, since a failure could drain your tank, kill your fish and flood your crib
