One of the most useful ways for me is to look at what that thing is out in nature. For example, fireweed. It grows in areas that are healing from fire. It's a pioneer plant, and is also used as a sort of calendar (it's said where I am that summer isn't over until the last fireweed flowers fall) and it blooms up the stalk over the summer. For me, this says a lot about emotional healing, bouncing back, and evolving. It speaks to me of "rising from the ashes" and manifesting a greener future. That's just my take on it!

This is a fabulous approach, and absolutely how our forbearers did it. So many of the correspondences that have been handed down are no longer put in context for folks, and people think they just ARE, but really it's more about the overall picture and how they work with you in your space and culture.

@@bladeandbroom oh yeah, I've found it really frustrating that there's a lack of context with correspondences. I feel like I could have figured this all out years ago!

Something I did for fun for my BOS is a page of correspondes for me, Personally. So, if I were a Goddess (which I am, duh lol 😂)what are some offers scents/smells, flowers/plants, food and drink I like to honor myself ❤

That's a great exercise! We did that as a conversation starter a few years ago at a dinner party. I liked thinking about what title or term your clergy might be called. 🥰 Not really a correspondence, per se, but still a fun way to think about you deep symbols. Love this!!!
