I love the video! The editing and music are super clean and dope. Very easy to follow, and I honestly thought it was cool you were able to do it without any talking audio, it made the music cooler and more intense. I Would love to see more tutorials like this in the future, looking forward to your next video. Also what sites do you use to source hardware?
@SewMuchBlack
@SewMuchBlack 5 жыл бұрын
thanks a lot! Dominic from caffeine chamber did a nice job composing some music for me. So you think talking would make it less interesting to watch? Thats a new viewpoint for me, thanks! I have some more projects in the queue, can't wait to sew some more stuff. I mainly shop on extremtextil.de and tacticaltrim.de - both are german sites that sell outdoor fabrics and hardware. I recently searched all internet sources I could find for interesting links and fabric suppliers, so I can maybe do a video about sourcing techwear fabrics, if you are interested.

Sew Much Black I think with simple easy to follow tutorials no talking is cool but more complicated ones need more explanation

@@DakotaPerez1 thats a fair point too. On the other hand I am glad i listened to my girlfriend who suggested the text explanations ... without them the video would not have had any overview about what was happening. I think about doing some stylized graphics (much like AOKU has in his videos) to explain the region of a piece/garment where the work is getting done at the moment. what do you think about that?
@DakotaPerez1
@DakotaPerez1 5 жыл бұрын
Sew Much Black yea I think that would work I was going to say you either need text to explain or speech and whichever seems like less work to do is what I’d choose personally!

Cool!

Why the D ring at the belt buckle though?
@SewMuchBlack
@SewMuchBlack 4 жыл бұрын
normally you have to loosen the belt through grabbing the buckle and lowering the tension between the buckle and the two layers of webbing. but instead you can just pull on the d ring and then loosen the belt way faster and more easily.
@noisey973

Cool, what kind of webbing did you use & where did you purchase it? Also, where did you get your D rings? Thanx!

The webbing i used was simple and thin nylon webbing. I got all the materials for that belt from extremtextil.de who have a sufficient assortment for most projects.

@SewMuchBlack
@SewMuchBlack 4 жыл бұрын
@ToastedMoto
@ToastedMoto 4 жыл бұрын
@SewMuchBlack
@SewMuchBlack 4 жыл бұрын

Hi, what length did you use to make this belt? I understand it’s adjustable but not all humans are created equal, thanks 😊
@SewMuchBlack
@SewMuchBlack Жыл бұрын
Just measure your waist and figure out which length you like, i guess. That was my very first belt, and now I am selling some stuff myself on etsy. How lng your belt should be is totally up to you, especially if you have some dangly bits as in this design. I guess DIY'ing gear is just like cooking - you have to try it out, see if it fits/tastes you, and then make adjustments accordingly.
