I've done braids using yarn since about 2009. This is my 1st time seeing anyone use yarn instead of weave in a hair tutorial. I actually like burning my ends but it's cute either way. I like medium and jumbo braid styles the best bcuz they're quick. I'm interested in more styles with yarn. Great video!

@@Boss_etc853 Cutting the yarn does take time. Since it's washable, I've reused yarn 2-3 times (sometimes more) before discarding it. That makes cutting the yarn worth it for me.

I save money by doing it myself, it does not take a lot of time AND once I get the hang of it I am sure mine will start to look as professional as yours. Not to mention keeping braids in my hair not only looks cute, but I am able to tend to the health of my scalp more often.
