Looks great! I found some 100% wool roving and I only braided it till my real hair length ran out.. and they were pre dyed.. it worked well for the summer. it was light and I didn't lose any of my natural hair. It protected me from the heat from the sun and protected my blue hair color in my real hair.. and it was a great blanket when I went on the airplane... everyone complimented me.. try the wool rovings..they are thicker.
