Hi! I just wanted to say that you doing these videos makes me feel great comfort in learning to DJ. It is very hard to come by female mentors for things like DJing and production, and it gets discouraging when you can't find a teacher you connect with and relate to. I don't think I've ever listened to your music, nor have I seen you play (I am a bit of a deep dub head) but I am now a big fan of yours and will make it a point to support you as much as possible! I would love to see you do videos on production in Ableton or even offer private lessons as some other DJs/producers have been doing through COVID. You're truly inspiring and thank you

I recently got myself a set of Pioneer DDj - 200s, and i must say that you've actually helped me to grasp the basics alot faster than what i would've if i had to do it on my own. I love your videos, just wish there were more to watch.

I still don't get how to choose the right songs to mix together and at what point.. everytime I think it sounds good in my head, it does not go or has a different bpm so then the song sounds weird if you try to beat match.

Have you tried using Spleeter to separate a track into vocals and instrumentals? Another fun trick is if you have, say, an instrumental version of a song but not an a cappella, you can often subtract one track from another and get a reasonable a cappella version.

Loving the tutorials. You are my favorite DJ by far. The emotions you put through your craft and the love you receive/feel just from your masterpieces and fans showed me the true passion that can be achieved from a true honest, real, and love for something other than another human being. You make me feel more from your self expression than I have ever felt from anything in my life thus far. If you can make me "FEEL" like this just from your KZbin videos, then I cant imagine what "True" unconditional love must feel like. If I had a chance to be at one of your shows I think you would almost get me to that place towards my own self love. Remember everyone, you can not love another until you can truly love yourself. Stay strong, sexy, beautiful, and honest throughout your career. If you can do that along with focus and positivity. You will go far for many and yourself.

Thanks for your videos! Kind of just relearning the basics as I feel like I kind of plateaued. Also blew my speakers as well, so its been relatively quiet here, but hoping to get some new speakers soon. Mostly DJing in the garage and at some house parties with friends just hanging. But always looking for things i can improve on, and work on for future mixes and mash ups. Really liked your videos and really like your style of tunes and as well. Will definitely been looking forward to going through your music online and probably Liking every single one of them. Thank You.

I have an idea, since most of us have seen your DJ tutorials, what if you showcase your expertise by going live and mixing for us, the catch, however, is that we request the songs live in chat and you see if you can find a way to mix them. In theory it will be tons of fun for us and hopefully a fun challenge for you. Your manager or a mod or even a bot could be set up to keep track of the song list and remove songs that have been played. You can choose the order, but every song must at least be mixed or sampled once. If we run out of songs or don't request fast enough, you just loop what ever is playing (while glaring angrily) until we give you another song. Sure it will be crazy, but that's the fun, plus we might discover a few mash ups or mixes that are diamonds in the rough. Please? (oh and also an Ableton production series pleeease!)

Hey Alison! Thank you so much for your constant awesome work... This year is challenging like nothing else i experienced yet. I strongly remember every moment of your concert in Berlin this Year. I am a local but never ever heard of that little club before where we got as close as i never thought of. It was one of the last concerts i am proud of being happening this year. Goosebumps just when thinking about it again. I hope to see you sometime again after this pandemic. I hope this is a chance for you to be creative and to calm down. Regenerate from all that touring. I am happy about every time my spotify release radar prompts your Photo like today. Stay healthy and keep up your great work. My Shelf in the livingroom is patient but awaits the next vinyl recording with soundwaves pressed into it. Much love from Germany!
