12:55 You don't actually have to do it that way. Beside it there's a button that says "add to queue" Click that, then you repeat your save process for the next track, and the next track, and so on. once you have all of them added to the queue, you'll just click "Start Queue" and then it will take care of them all at once.

I know your learning , if a DJ has used VDJ this is like a beginners video, but no harm in that we all got to learn somehow what better way than a cool you tube demo Have to say this is by far one of if not the best videos you have posted, you really explain everything so well and the shots and angles are super Well done and like a lot of folks im looking forward to the next video of the Vms4 and guess what I bet somewhere along the way with you playin around I learn something new ;)

@DjRyBiz You have to hook up the external monitor or projector and then change your display properties to use that external display to show your extended desktop. Once that is complete you just go into Config / Video and change the drop down menu for TV output to use your video chipset and you should see the extended display showing your videos.

Just leave the Video Crossfader automatic tab checked. It will still move with the Audio Fader but will be much smoother and show the transition better.

Look like you are going to have fun with Virtual DJ Brain? I think your going to have,a heck of a good time. I started incorparating music video out of my mixes back in the 80's, then 2002 I switched to DVD, and just played them at my gig's. I really wanted the Pionner DJV's but out of my price range. So in 2009 I got the bug again for mixing music videos, as this post show my first try at it. Great Video Bro!

You can download music videos for free from the internet, its a hell of a lot of work your putting yourself through ripping them all seperately.

Uncheck video crossfader linked to Audio crossfader and just use video crossfader automatic in VDJ and the video transition will be much smoother. Those settings will be in the Video tab in the Config menu.

Hey Brian, How did you get your secondary monitor to play JUST the Master out footage? The only way ive found to do this is to extend the monitor and drag the video screen to the second window. Is there a different/easier way? Thanks! Jake

@briansredd I can't get my cross fader and volume faders to work and the midi log 2 and 3 knobs gain, mid, trebble, bass also. I can use my mouse to control them but can't control them on the VMS4. Sent like 5 e-mails and posted problem on AA forum and not one answered yet! First i couldn't get sound from it using VDJ LE so i upgraded to Pro to configure it which i did and got sound but then this other problem came up! REALLY BUMMED got my styleflip skin on and all! HOPE IT'S NOT FAULTY!

hi there! is there possible to connect vms4 with your mixer(for example to have vms4 on channel 1, one turntable on channel 2 or 3 and the second turntable on channel 3 or 4)? Also, would you regret not attending this event for the reason of living under the law 100% obedient?

Guess what, I make music every week for years and better than the record company artists. I have not received any kind of payment much less anything resembling a fullbon income for my work and dedication and huge investment in cost of equipment. Will I still continue doing it tomorrow, next year, next decade with no pay or label support? Of course I will. In fact, I haven't been able to stop myself playing music. I didn't start in the intention for it to be a financially lucrative venture but as a creative one to communicate the soundscapes i always have had going on internally since childhood. For financially beneficial objectives i trade assets online as its pattern recognition skill set. Never understood why on earth anyone would try to be a professional big musician as a livelihood. An event mobile dj sure you're moreso providing a service but a recording artist under a label? Why? Its a fantasy. It requires exploitation of the thing you love most. Keep it about the vibe and experience and moments priority and make money a million other ways that are way better for that than being a professional creative. Professional creative is like the worst thing on earth to do for financial security or profit or any kind of income. You Can't serve 2 masters at the same time. You'll be forced to make shite for the reason that its popular for the masses. While you will abandon your true music that connects to your soul. Like the prostitute says, once you make money from it you lose the love.

Hey Brian, Steve Sharp here, on my business youtube account. Nicely explained, as always. Handbrake question, as I'm new to using it... Is there a way to rip multiple tracks from a DVD as a single mp4 file? Promo Only DVDs often have multiple chapters for songs on their DVDs. I'd prefer to have BOTH tracks as a single .mp4 file, and use cue points to cue past intros, instead of lopping off the intro in the file itself.

Yes Press Video Button on the top middle then at the Top of the Crossfader You will see a Option. Audio Crossfader or Video Crossfader. You would pick Video Crossfader and De-Select (Turn Off) the the Link Button to the Right. Set the Transition to Fade. Job Done Have Fun.

djamygdala I sometimes use I movie a free video editing software to make my own videos for tracks that don’t have videos or don’t have any interesting videos .The internet like KZbin has all kinds of videos available as well.I sometimes record a track from my collection which is vinyl cd and mp3 and then add visuals via iMovie.Virtual dj has video loops of all kinds available and more you can download too

You need a USB Video Splitter like the Maxtor. Go on KZbin put In Maxtor2togo and don't look at the Price and press the Buy Button. No other will work as well as these do. Good Luck.

You Should have gone for the 5.0 version as We have the 4.1 and they have discontinued the drivers. And now We are getting Interaction problems on start up. We get Video no Sound then the other way round. We now have to make sure We fire everything up In sequence. Turn on Laptop, Open Virtual DJ then turn on 4.1. You may be lucky but If It does start to do this then use like Dis-scripted. Good Luck.
