Hey, I've just read your response to that one comment saying how versatile phonk has become and I completely agree with what the commenter said and also what you responded. I've tried to combine different kinds of sounds and genres with phonk, because I just love the nature and feel of the phonk basis, but many times lack the completing process and basically just give up on the project, because I am stuck doing and undoing things. I've worked out some of my issues come down to bad mixing and so I was wondering what do you aim for when you're mixing your tracks? Do you have a goal when going about mixing or even a guideline you follow? Btw I REALLY love this and can't wait for september to release

thx. ngl, I'm sometimes having the same problem. if I can't mix the track, reason could be in boring melody, bad sound pick or even lack of inspiration. i always do this: on cowbell, cut the low-freqs off, do bit of distortion (bitcrush/overdrive), little bit of chorus, and reverb for room or airness of the sound; on master, i make sure there's enough compression and add a little bit of bitcrush; other mixing is situational. hope this will help. abt september, i think it need a rework (and a cover), so it's coming waaay soon.
