I love the tip about twisting outward. I watched alot of videos on double strand twist. I always have an issue doing the back of my hair. My front and sides come out good but my back I always have to much spacing. Most start with the back and work their way to the front but it doesn't work for me. Help!

I did not know outward twisting existed. It makes a difference. You are not wasting people's time. Keep it up! Many black women grow up never truly knowing how to take care of our 'natural' hair. I know I did.

I’m biracial & was raised in an all white family. My hair was super short when I was younger because my mom didn’t know how to take care of it and once I got old enough I had it relaxed for over 25 years, just because it was easier for me. Now due to health issues I can’t use chemicals anymore so I’ve been natural going on 3 years now after losing my hair to Lupus. I’m 47 & JUST learning how to do this to my hair now. This definitely isn’t a waste of time!! Videos like these are an absolute lifesaver for me because I am finally learning how to properly care & style my hair for once in my life.

Bricklaying is a gift from God that allows us to see a forest bc of the trees!!! One of the beautiful things about visual learner videos with this level of detail is that it allows those of us who have been graced with lefthandedness can see the technique and make the required modifications. That set of details may have been overlooked by schools in previous years and/or certain geographic regions. Thanks for sharing!!!

I've watched so many DIY videos for hair care and I've noticed that there is so much going on in the videos beyond the tutorial that I just give up. I which there was a place to go to get your natural hair cared for, including natural hairstyles that are not always weave, wigs, pressing etc. Please continue to share you information. Thank you for sharing this. The twist out prior to the twist over and down is the best twisting lesson I’ve had. Game changer! 💥 Thank you!!!

I’ve done my daughters hair, my own, & occasionally some friends. I’m not a professional. I know how to do 2 stand twist, but this tutorial took it to another level. I wish I would have found you sooner. I tried your technique and it made a huge difference. Of course, I have seen other people do it to, but they didn’t break it down like you did. Thank you so much! It was quick , to the point, and easily understood ❤❤❤

I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS. They are no way “a waste of time.” I learn more from you than I did in cosmetology school. Thank you so much for the education you’re giving. Sending love and blessings to you and your family ❤️🤎🖤❤️🤎🖤❤️🤎🖤

I’m getting very insecure about my hair and I’m sure many people can relate to this! It’s not the fact that it’s Afro textured or anything like that, it’s just that I’m envious of those who have long, healthy hair that can do almost any style. Mine is very short and I get a bit insecure about it, but your videos helped my a little with my confidence. Thank you ❤
