10 out of 10. My Son hair is nice and thick like that but if I don't use clamps at the end for a stretch his whole twist will curl. I'm going to try it exactly how you did it to see what happens. It will probably save me some time. Clamping the root and the end takes me forever. I'm not a hairdresser by no means.. I just know how to do two strand twist because when covid hit, I'm the one who kept them looking decent. I became the hair dressor. LOL 😂

This is how I twist my hair. When I want to wear a twist out I unravel the twist part and leave the roots braided so later that night or a few days later the parts are still in tact and I can twist it right back up.

Being able to braid African hair specifically is such an underrated skill, to me it’s like when someone knows two languages if that makes sense? Like seriously you have to be an intelligent individual to know how to braid hair part and all the little products pieces everything down to a T is just so impressive! My daughter is mixed so I just now started to learn how to do French braids so now I know how to do a French braid, but it’s kind of hard on her hair because her roots are a little straighter compared to the end of her hair, which are a little more frizzy!

I absolutely love everything you did with the exception of placing the jar on the clients head. Please excuse me. I come from a licensed cosmetologist background of client protection. The jar on the head could introduce germs, bacteria, or fungus to the hair and scalp if the jar wasn’t at least sanitized first. Dipping in the jar and applying it to his head (unless that’s his personal jar of jam), poses the same risk. The potential of the jar falling and hitting him in the face or product spillage, etc. it just wasn’t very etiquette friendly; he’s not a table or stand… lol. Between the two of you, y’all balanced that jar without it falling unless it was edited out. But girl, you do your thing. It looked so good! Great job!

I absolutely love it. Also love the fact that you take your time to show us exactly how to do it step by step . Thank you. I always braid my husband's hair but I want to do something different and thanks to you I'm gonna do this .

❤Thank you soooooooo much for this video!!!! I love how you explained the process. I've watched several videos & they just "show", no "tell". Next time I do mine or my son's hair, I will be watching this video until I get great at it. I appreciate you.❤

I didnt know that you should braid a little bit first and then do the twist. Thank you! Now I will try again on my children’s hair. ❤

Thank you for teaching how to have a fuller look by the brick method, I’m doing mine with no added hair because it’s so much faster!
