I got that too, i thought king is looking at deciding between a big cup or a small cup, the big cup is him sharing equally the love in 2 of cups but if going with that route he's worried about finances and the future... will it be pentacles going wrong in the reverse, will he lose things. King looks forward to the future going from a to b would result in c... Maybe

Dogs are symbols of loyalty, pentacles being earth signs I always think this it to remind us that they are stable, loyal and family/traditionally orientated. Thanks for this Gem x

Dogs aren’t that loyal because they do turn on their owners so the 10 of pentacles being turned upside down/reversed tells me of betrayal.😊

Gem, i know that the king is facing forward as if looking at the future, but to me, i felt as if he is remembering how his marriage was when he was younger and carefree, how close they were, on a solid footing, whereas now theyve drifted apart and he's wondering how it all went so wrong, why everything came tumbling down like the tower! I also get the feeling it was down to him , the grass is always greener! 😉 i have an xbf who is a cancer sign and when i look at this king, im reminded of him, financially secure, has everything that he wants but likes to be the centre of attention and has the need to be admired, ie by women . Thank you so much for this, Gemma! Hope you do some more of these instructional videos. (love your Piscean glittery table cover!; looks like fish scales when the light hits it). A scenario I got from this, summoning up my intuition, was to me, the King of Cups looks wistful/sad. It is like he knows this couple; perhaps one is his child. They look like a very young couple to me. He is celebrating their happiness in the moment but knows that what they have is not for forever. This is his 'inner knowing'; has seen it all. I guess I could take it further from this & say, enjoy the person & the moment when you are together NOW; don't wish for or focus on the future. Being 'cups', very watery... things ebb & flow; not permanent. (how did I do, Teach? lol!) I have cards & have tried readings for myself. Is it best NOT to think of a question for the cards? Just let whatever message needs to come in?.

I like to your interpretation mine was very similar. I saw it as a relationship between 2 youngish people who are in love but there's a kind father figure who's looking at the relationship and really hoping that it works out but kind of sensing that it's really not gonna lead anywhere

Would like to know more about certain cards in the major arcana. Devil is a biggy for me since I have double Cappy's for rising and moon. I see King of Cups as a father who sees his child enter a relationship for love that will struggle with not having enough money. All three people are in the upright, so there is not malice or anger about it, it is just an observation by the father that they are starting with few material resources. Have a stellar day today!

I had a channel (SugarFree Tarot - I don't do it anymore) on here, think it's still there, where I did three card readings, with clarifyers etc. The system I used was Card 1: things as you see them. Card 2: the veil/obscuration/distraction. Card 3: things as they really are. Following that system, this reading speaks to me of someone who sees themselves as ready, capable and willing on the emotional front, fantasizing about some kind of perfection or ideal, but in reality wanting to keep it all under their control (the stone throne mirroring the wings in 2 of cups, the toe only just dipped in the water, the holding of the two cups) and can't actually share love. The 10 of Pentacles in the reverse shows that the readiness, capability and willingness is simply not there, and this is really just a story of solipsism and immaturity. Not a million miles from your interpretation! (But perhaps less friendly...)

Except this felt like a reading for me today. Came across a photo on line last night of an ex I didn't realize had gotten married. We were together 11 years. This all seems kind of simple here. Card 1. You have someone with something to put into the situation, The king of cups wants to give whayt he has. Card 2. These are the recipients that are recieving what the king is giving. They are looking at each other savoring and deciding what to do with what they have been given. Card 3. The ten of pentacles was their ultimate plan on what they were doing with what they were given. Unfortunately the with the card upside down the plans of mice and men get out into who knows where adding up to nothing. How about that?

I find I sort of have the question n mind but I don’t like to feel too keen to know the answer. It helps to feel relaxed and curious but you don’t have to actually verbalise it, you can just feel curious. Will do clarifiers in separate video 🙏💗💗🔮

I loved that. I have a question. Do you literally sit down and shuffle the decks then read them? I’ve watched some readers who talk to guides, thank them and stuff like that. You seem so much more relaxed about the whole thing and you have so much fun which in turn makes it fun to watch. I’m not really expressing my question well because it may be a personal thing to ask you but I hope you get what I’m trying ( badly ) to ask.

I reckon you should shuffle how you are as a person. I’m a bit random and disorganised so I just shuffle and feel relaxed - I try not to overthink it. Other readers though might be different, some like to call spirit guides, or meditate - it’s all good just as long as it feels like you 🙏💗

Do you have any suggestions about getting a clarifier for a reading? How do you notice your intuition looking for more? Also, I am still looking into layouts for full 10 card readings. One time I just laid it out how I felt, but I know that there are different layout options

I always just lay them out with 9 cards and 1 as an overall energy card. Don’t doubt yourself 🙏💗 Pull clarifiers as you feel it in your intuition 🙏💗🥳

Could it also be that the king's cups are different sizes, symbolizing that he had more love for his person than his person had for him. Then you see the two of cups where the cups are the same size, the one he loves is in a balanced connection with someone else where they love each other equally. He doesn't stand a chance against the two of cups, hence the 10 pentacles upside down, his shattered dream.

I don't think he's holding 2 cups, I think it's a sceptre. What's intriguing here for me: the dress of the king of cups is the same color as the dress of a woman in the 2 of cups. And then you start seeing how the dress of the guy is reminiscent of the 10 of pentacles. Two of cups feels very balanced but what's behind those people is not. She's coming from the place of the emotional maturity, he's coming from the place of a failed family legacy. It could be 2 people in love but who don't have equal baggage. She's ok. He's a trouble. (He's a trouble, son!) Perhaps it's important to understand how our family (broken, loveless, unloving parents) affects us in our future relationships, and it looks like he's somewhat broken and cynical, but it won't be obvious from the get-go.

Leslie Zucker I might not be the best person to ask - I’m a triple Pisces! I shuffle differently depending on how they feel. Sometimes I do a big messy shuffle where I put them on the table and mush them all around, sometimes I rifle shuffle until they feel right and sometimes I just play around with them until it feels right! 🙏💗
