I still vividly remember learning my threes in my first lesson over 20 years ago and how confused I was at the time. Now it’s second nature, like walking.

That's a great tip! Everyone seems to have different words they say in their heads that work best for them.

Couldn't do it as a 5 year old in Ireland at primary school, now 55 years later I still cant! Oh well, there are other things I CAN do :)

Thank you, do you have your own teaching DVD? I like you as a teacher and would like to take lessons starting from the beginning?
@MJPAcademyIrishDance3 жыл бұрын
Hi Christy, I don't. I've thought about it but just don't have the time to make one. Thank you so much! We are doing adult classes online right now due to COVID if you would like to join us? You can visit our website (link in the video description) and then email me from there (The main email). I just don't want to post the email address here to avoid spam.

My teacher always told her students when teaching them to go ..." jump with your fat leg (right) walk with your skinny leg (left) and hide with your fat leg (right) in the back ❤

Any advice on how to get my front leg higher doing a birdie?
@MJPAcademyIrishDance7 жыл бұрын
Hi Bella, I don't know how I missed your comment. Sorry! For a higher front leg, you will need a lot of flexibility and core strength. You can check out my "Overdown" video and my "Splits" videos for some tips and exercises. Let me know if they help!
