How to do a burnout in a FWD car
4 easy steps:
1. Pull the E-brake
2. Hold the clutch
3. Put the car in first gear
4. Rev. the engine, pop the clutch
1989 Mitsubishi Lancer 1.5 GLi
Unfortunately the car is going to the junkyard.
Feel free to donate money for a new Lancer :)

The e-brake locks the rear wheels. The brake pedal locks the front tires. So if you have a FWD, you have to use the e-brake. If you have a RWD car, you have to use the brake pedal.

The brake pedal can lock up the front and back wheels, but more so the front
@OldCarsAreFun

@@peterrawlinson137 Thats right, people who like to do burnouts with a rwd car often use a modified brake system. Making it possible to only activate the front brakes. Otherwise you burn up your rear brakes

Its an open differential and it's not on ALL front and RWD cars. Some cars come stock with VLSDs which locks up and causes both tires to spin at the same speed under a certain amount of throttle while an open differential will only allow the outside tire to spin faster under any amount of throttle.

only one wheel is spinning because it has an open differential like any other fwd car...in an open differential all the power from the engine will be sent to the wheel that is easier to spin or has the least amount of friction....unlike the locked differential

dude i have a neon front wheel and all you have to do is release it as normal just go up to 4-5 rpms not ripe your clutch out. before you do that think of your car first. the slipping happens when the tires rotate at a high rate.
