HOW TO DO A BURST FADE ⚡️ Step by Step Breakdown

In this video I will show you guys how I go about doing a burst fade. A burst fade is more or less when your guidelines are in a circle, or burst shape around the ear. It is one of the more difficult fades to do in my opinion so I'll try to make it easy for you. Let's get right into this cut!

Thank u Sean!! Burst fade is the hardest fade for me specifically the fade behind the ear and when the client is trying to leave long hair at the back. It'll be helpful tho if you can also do this on straight Asian hair.

Yeah Its a must for me to take the bald guideline out first before making my guideline with the 1 guard. After that I can fade down, up, or whatever but it just seems my fades come out cleaner and faster that way.

@@Barberdon2022 there’s a burst taper, which is a curved taper, and a burst fade is really just a circular fade on the sides. Everybody has their own idea of what all that stuff means though
