I get scared filing around the cuticle. How do I know if it’s enough and flushed? Also what is the bit you used around the cuticle and the purpose?

I watch as I file, you can see it if there’s no acrylic and if it’s blended. Also a lot of the sealing should happen during application too. You can skip the step with the bit around the cuticle at the end but I like to do it for a clean break. 🫶

I have always done my nails at home and I just love using acrylic, however sometimes I avoid it due to the harsh smell that lingers a day or two after doing my nails. 🙁 Would you have any tips or recommendations on how to avoid that strong monomer scent from lingering? 🩶
