How to do a hand carved flagstone concrete overlay wall, outdoor kitchen, fireplace or seat wall is an easy and less expensive way to get the look of flagstone, boulders, cut stone, castle stone...without the weight, mess or cost of using real flagstone, stone or stone veneer. The benefits are...less cost, easier to apply, 100% coverage to the substrate means no delamination or water intrusion that can cause damage. Classic or custom looks, and incredibly beautiful rock and boulder looks...that are actually concrete, so it has 3000+ psi when dry and will last as long as concrete.

When you hit it with the sand paper....I was impressed at how much that added to the realism....and I also liked the darkening of the cracks. Thank you for this video.

That's absolutely awesome!!! We don't get those liquid pigments here in Kenya. Is there a way to mix the powder pigments to achieve the same effect? Your videos are very informative and well done. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Keep up the good work.
@stoneedgesurfaces3959
@stoneedgesurfaces3959 5 жыл бұрын
Actually our "Liquid" pigments are just natural pigments in water.To apply them, we mix the pigments and water with our Pro Seal water based matte sealer because you need a rheological or reactive agent to draw the pigments into the concrete or stone. If you apply the pigments and water without a reactive agent, they will stay at the surface and wear away very quickly. There are a lot of pigment suppliers out there, it took us a long time to find the right type of sealer that is a good reactive agent for our pigments, so hopefully with some trial and error you can find the same in your country.
