@@sunnyy788 thank you!! I'm glad to hear that :) just do it in your own speed. It usually takes me long to learn a new skill. E.g. I needed a couple of years to learn pull ups and I'm still working on my back flip which I started practicing 6 years ago, despite a heavy knee injury. Meanwhile there are videos of people in KZbin who learn it in one week 🤣 so don't get discouraged by this, enjoy the process instead 🙏🏼

When doing knees to chest (you call them tuck ups), try to maintain hollow body position at the bottom. By doing this, you can avoid swinging and keep proper hip alignment.

Kips are simple moves, although you say: kips are VERY DIFFICULT moves, they are actually very simple. Core and arm strength is also very important doing the skill, though not the most important thing. A very easy way to get kips: drills. If you take 1 day to correctly learn a bunch of kip drills, the next day... or even that day, you will have your kip. Most of the other thing implied in the video are also very true and I don’t have anything to say. A phrase I like to use that you didn’t, is ice cream. When your doing a kip you look like an ice cream scoop, up and out. Now that I have cleared up a couple things I would love to give more tips, however I would have to make my own video. The over Exaggeration with core strength is to much. YOU DONT HAVE TO BE STRONG OR HAVE THE TIMING!!!!!! You just need the DRILLS
@GinaScarangella5 жыл бұрын
Marlee Villa Hi Marlee! Unfortunately if you are on a low bar you can’t make a full scooping motion because you pas through a pike position initially. Most people find it difficult to even hold a pike just from hanging on the bar 😊 I have a lifetime full of experience with these skills and have spent many years training them myself. Thanks for your input and I wish you best of luck on your own video!
