Hullo Liz, Triangle is my favorite shape! Then Hexagon is second. If you think about it 6 triangles create a Hexagon! I took a beginner painting class in acrylics for my college humanities requirement. We learned how to make stretcher bars and then stretched our canvases! After my first semester of creating rectangular canvases I made my first triangular shaped canvases! I discovered that cutting Masonite into shapes was easier and so I did both for a few years. I do enjoy watching your videos and seeing your amazing creations! I am very thankful that I am still able to create surfaces of Amy shape. Thanks for sharing this lovely project with us!

@ Happy New Year’s to you and your family! If I can suggest anything for starting a new shape? Use cut or taped watercolor paper or pastel paper taped to shape to make it easier to frame within a matte! I know that you can create an amazing creation, I look forward to seeing you work and watching the video on it!

Liz thank you so much for all your videos, I found your channel a couple of months ago and have loved watching them, have learnt a lot from them and started plein air ink and drawing, I started small and sat in my back garden to try and decide what i wanted to use, OMG everything was a disaster, I laughed so much and had the best fun, less is much better as you suggested !
