My favorite day, WASH DAY!! In this video I go over how to do a wash and go on natural 4c Hair using mousse only....yep no gel. It was an interesting experience I must say. Have you tried a mousse-only #washngo? What was your experience?

Use mousse def by itself no heavy butters or oils per the directions. Also adding uncle Funky’s curl magic as a leave in can help with mositure. It creates a fluffy wash n go look.

Your wash-n-go was nice and fluffy.💜 I always get a better result with Mousse Def when I diffuse or sit under my hooded dryer. It dries faster, is still fluffy, but the hold is better.

Sit under a hooded dryer or diffuse so you get less shrinkage. Use Mousse Def alone.

Your hair looks good! I’m not a fan of mousse wash n gos. I’ve tried a lot including the doux. Not that it didn’t look good, it just didn’t last. Day 2 for me was like i hadn’t done anything. Give me a gel cast all day 😂

Why?

@@azchanna because they have built in conditioners and they are designed to be 1 step styling products. I can get a week twist out easily with just the mousse. I’ve been using the doux for years and they are my staple.

You're brave to do a mousse only wash n go! I've never attempted it. I usually use curly magic as a base or a serum / liquidy gel. Curious for the results!

Song; Praise is what I do. 🙌🏽. I haven’t did a wash n go in so long. Been doing braid or twaid out, but def need to revise. I’ve been using a leave in and mousse (right now the Doux and the Camille rose honey one.). Enjoying both, but like the Doux a little better. Enjoyed. Do you know how to gain more density or if it is possible?

Mousse Def is better by itself, no leave-in, oils, or butters needed before. It’s says it on the directions on the bottle and it’s on all their social media. That’s probably why you had flaking as well.

I use the mousse only method but on right out the shower wet hair and my hair loves it. Also depends on the mousse, should be a moisturizing one, during colder seasons I'll put a leave-in conditioner and then the mousse. I have 4c hair, very much like Jenn Jacksons.

Just recently joined the "twist out" world. First time trying, I used Mousse Def. I had excellent results. I followed the directions, used only water. Kept twists in for a week. During the week, I did LOC method (w/o undoing twists). Untwisted at end of the week and received lots of comments. It was a brand new style for me, so the compliments helped me decide to do again the next week. Naptural85's vid made me try it😊 kzbin.info/www/bejne/o5_LiI2HfNJ2sMk
