I can only use 1 step of Olaplex or any other bonding treatment at a time. They end up behaving like too much protein if I use more than one step per wash. It causes tangles and my hair texture is straw like.

I use the redken acidic bond pre treatment and I have used it 3 wash times. I will continue to be consistent and see what happens. My hair does feel soft I do use the Kenta blowout cream with the revair. My hair had minimal breakage and seems to be doing well.

I have read that k18 is a waste if you have not done a very damaging chemical treatment. That has also been my experience. Tried it before with demi colored hair with some mechanical damage = no difference 2x bleached and colored hair = life saver.

I luv all 3! And have used them for years. I don't use as suggested. I wash once with 4...if I need a 2nd wash I'll use keracare moisturizing shampoo but don't always need a 2nd shampoo. THEN I do #3 , then #4 and thassit. I've never needed another conditioner afterwards but if ya like to, then I say go for it! Nice vid!

Olaplex is great. I recommend using after you use heat - this is better. I also recommend pairing with number 0. This activates #3 and makes it work better. I always use after a silk press and/or and it never fails.

Hey Grace i definitely would love to try the Rev air ,I don't put a lot of heat on my hair as I discover she doesn't like it so in 2025 I will not change that but will definitely incorporate more protein treatments tfs❤ I have never used opalex before you always give such great tips I probably will try it tfs❤

I plan to blow dry my hair more, not sure if I am going to go all the way to heat training. I used to go to bed with wet hair all the time 😅 and I know I am on the fast track to hydral fatigue. I recently ordered olaplex as well.

@@NappyFu South Carolina heat won't allow that either but when will someone come up with something that blocks the humidity. When I had a relaxer, and I'm not kidding, it would afro up as well and no one understood that except maybe again a hair stylist was lying that I was actually getting a touch up and I left straight only due to the blow dry or the hair set. But, there has got to be something to Shield hair from humidity when you want to wear it straight for a little while

I get my fine, thin 4C hair blow dried and trimmed every 3 months. That’s not considered heat trained is it? The front seems to stay straighter than the rest of my hair. That might be because I pull my hair back in a bun a lot. I wear it out two or three days between each wash day. I change up styles every 4 or 5 days. I tried a protein treatment for the first time from Elite Hair Care. That was last night. It feels fine so far.(Thanks for sharing this video. ❤It gives me more brands to choose from.)

I think heat trainer is typically ppl who use flat ironing in their regimen. However, I personally consider blow drying a form of heat training if done on a regular basis.

So glad to see you in a new hair video🥰. I will be using more heat in 2025; the rev air to lengthen my hair before doing braid/twist out. Mainly because (1) the prices of twist/braids are getting ridiculously high (2) so-I really need to learn natural hair styling myself (3) I love- love- love -twist outs even in a up do.

I use 0, 3 and sometimes 5 on my tweens hair due to chlorine damage. She's in the pool 3 days a week for an hour on a swim team. Between indoor pools and outdoor pools in the summer sun, her hair was fried. Olaplex saved her hair.

The Olaplex masque is a way better conditioner for our hair. It's a deep conditioner with more slip. At this point, though. I only use the no.3 pretreatment. The rest doesn't feel necessary.

Yes it is. Don't know if they followed instructions correctly. A hairstylist put this stuff, I don't know which one, on my hair shortly after it came out I believe. I was relaxed at the time and since I shampoo my hair between touch ups, it was a disaster for me for shampoo. With relaxer I could not even comb my hair. It was as hard as a rock. I just had to push it in place and go to work because I had no wigs and was not familiar with head wraps nor would a head wrap have been allowed except for religious reasons. I went to Sally's store after work and they were clueless but sent me to the beauty school and they were also clueless and the instructors got together and came up with something that involved flat ironing which I never wanted done to my hair to try and fix the problem. The original hair stylist would not work with me or help me after that. I'm tempted to try the product again, perhaps she put the wrong one on my hair or perhaps it wasn't that at all. Maybe she didn't like the idea that I took care of my own hair between touch ups and she wanted to make certain that I'd have to come back to her each time it was time to shampoo.

Olaplex has been a game changer for me. I started going to a natural hair stylist who recommended it due to excessive breakage. I’ve been using it almost weekly for about 4 months and the breakage has decreased significantly. It is expensive but a little goes a long way. I don’t use heat on my hair and I typically keep it in twists. My hair feels and looks so good it’s hard for me not to keep touching it. Love your videos and as always God bless!
