So does the hand and chinstrap stay in place for the choke or does he slide up the the wrist to finish the choke? Hard to tell and not really clear.

I think if you want to know you have to execute it in training to find out.

Keep it there, even if somewhat bending the wrist to better follow the contour of his neck. The pad of your thumb should be comoressing the carotid from the front/side.

Bring it in and switch to the grip he shows

The forearm needs to be under the shin, tuck the guillotine elbow down and not flair it. That pushes the head down while you crunch

So, if your left arm is behind the opponents arm, you go for arm in. If its in front, you go for high wrist
