Great video. Use TIP3055 or 2N3055 because mosfet is too noisy and mosfet after 10s of work can be used as glue gun :)

Hi friends, I have successfully built an electric light thanks to the tutorials from Kasyan TV and some videos from the channel on youtube. Because I use secondhand components from other electronic devices, so in my project I use transistor TIP41C, but the problem is heat transistor and require heatsink, of course heatsink require space and affect the shape of lighter. I tried to use K1457 mosfet former power supplay CPU, but it did not work. So how is the solution? Should I use IRFZ44?

No matter what I do is arcing between windings, I put between 90 and 100 turns in each layer. or should I reduce the number of turns per layer? I will try to isolate with paper between layers and put in melted wax under vacuum to remove air bubbles and see what happens. any help is appreciated, thank you!

Yes, you can. It just need to make semething like 50 0 50 turns pri and 5 turns sec. This is drop voltage by 10 and increase current by 10

David Page check data sheet on the transistors, I think the are increasing the frequency from battery then into the three input of the step up transformer but not sure if he's using them in parallel or to control negative and positive voltage mmmmmmmm need to find some transistors lol dun the transformer tho lol

No this is a auto generator circuit with TRANSFORMER joul's thief uses center tapped INDUCTOR Inductor has a 1 coil but transformer have 2 coils min. TRANSFORMER from the video has 3 coils and 2 of them connected to make center. Something like 5 0 5. Sorry for the bad english i am from russia

its a great project but as a electronic lighter it has a lot of draw backs, its looks are not exactly nice and you would not put it in your pocket i baught mine from amazon for £10.00 and it looks fab and its safe to put in your pocket. also i dont beleive it has over surge protection, over charge switch off etc. can you do another one on how to bulid your own tasser.
