After removing the bust dart, u get less than the underbust measurement, why is that the case

Ma, i hav carefully watch the video on basic bodice ma, nd it was so helpful. Now my question is, wat if i dont want to use a side dart, nd having my front bodice longer than the back block, how do i make the two side seams equal? Thanks ma, as i patiently wait for ur reply,cos this has bin my greatest problem

All you have to do is close the side dart and you'll have the same length. So on ur pattern paper cut out the front bodice then use a paper tape to close up the dart before cutting your pattern on fabric. Hope this helps

I think she didn't measure the underbust while drafting, she connected from the bust line to the waist region. So she took d underbust measurement afterwards
