Question? Where you get the wood pieces from?

Does the wax add a good layer of waterproofing to the wood..?

@@AndrewWhitney-k3r I wouldn’t necessarily say “good” layer. Not like a varnish. But the combination of oil and wax does help protect it from moisture

What about touch ups? Would wax have to be stripped off to touch up/condition wood with the BLO?

Yes. If you get a scratch you basically have to sand it down enough to remove the scratch and then apply layers of the BLO until it reaches a matching finish and then reapply a layer of the renaissance wax

How long do we have to wait to put a top coat of wax on after the BLO?

That will very greatly depending on how much oil you use, the type of wood etc. I would say at a minimum, one week.
