I recommend getting the +9s then turn it into a stat agony ones for best damage

I think amulet for laurels + wvwv currency is the only cost-efficient piece from laurel merchants (must visit one in the entrance to any wvw area). As a new player, this is by far the quickest way to get your first ascended amulet. Accessories are probably easiest via guild mission marks. And rings are ofc the ten pristine relics. I just started in January and these sources made it easy to collect all 5 in my first two weeks (I got celestial for my first set, and have also picked up two others since). That’s an easy and quick 6 infusion slots, with 8 once you get the drops for the second set of ring upgrades. Full celestial from the level skip is perfect for starting in T1

Probably not the best use of resources, but I usually get the +5 Stat wvw infusions with my laurels for alts

So you can achieve 3 slots on each piece? And you can have +5stats in each slot eventually?

No, it's only rings that you can get 3 infusion slots. Everything else is 1-2, depending on the gear, with amulet having an enrichment slot. It's enough slots though total, that you can do +9s and have the 150 AR for full T4 fractals.

oh yes, only the rings. that's what was on my mind. i just answered thinking he was referring to rings

Rings can get 3 slots, back piece can get 2 slots, then obviously a 2handed weapon will always have 2 slots

can't you also just use +10 in everything with 2 slot rings 1 slot on backpack for 150?

you could, but having all 15x +10 AR infusions are way more expensive than 17x +9 AR infusions and upgrading rings

Yes because to make a +10 you need 2x+9s
