Thank you!!! Your demonstration was excellent for me to finally learn this weave. Even still it took me ten times to master it. The catch for me was going between the "V" made up by the two rings crossing and not under them. Then everything fell together. Also not having to pick it up. My fingers could not coordinate holding manipulating then closing without it all falling into a big mess. Much appreciation to you and Beadaholic for the give of your demonstration.

great tutorial, but it might be easier to follow if you used different colored jump rings.

Hello, how many jump rings do I need to make a few bracelets?
@beadaholique9 жыл бұрын
jacqueline kubiak It really depends on the size of your bracelet, and what type of clasp you are using. My example uses 68 rings, 12mm for the clasp and measures a total of 7.25 inches around a mandrel. Here is the list of supplies for this project www.beadaholique.com/t-ba-project-B2115.aspx?KZbin&

I have a question do u always flip the last jumpring or just one once
@beadaholique4 жыл бұрын
Just once. Once you flip the first one the others should already be flipped over. It’s just to get you started.

I have 14 gauge sterling silver wire I'd like to try with this weave. What is your recommendation for the ID?
@beadaholique8 жыл бұрын
It depends on how tight you want your weave. 14 gauge might be difficult to work with for this weave. I would try for something that has an ID of at least 4.5mm.

Do you have a Half Persian 4 in 1 tutorial? I'm just (like yesterday) started getting the hang of it but any other takes on it would be appreciated.

Can someone give me some advice on working with very small rings? I'm using 4mm rings weaving 4 in 1 European style units. The rings are so small that I can't get enough grip on the ring with my pliers without losing quite a lot of maneuverability with the ring. If I try to use my fingers, everything slides around so I lose track of everything. What can I do to keep everything in place, and be able to weave the rings together?
@beadaholique9 жыл бұрын
ztb231 It may be the tools you are working with. Here are a few tools I recommend for working with such small rings. www.beadaholique.com/p-56170-lindstrom-rx-professional-series-long-needle-nose-chain-pliers-625-inches-long.aspx?KZbin& www.beadaholique.com/p-24850-baby-wubbers-quality-fine-bent-chain-nose-jewellers-pliers.aspx?KZbin&

how would you make it wider
@beadaholique8 жыл бұрын
That is a slightly more advanced technique. I will add that to my video to do list. But essentially, you are doing one full row at a time and then when you start your second row you are taking the jump ring and catching the row below to attach them.

Is it 18 gauge AWG?
@beadaholique9 жыл бұрын
+cherylvanputten Yes these rings are 18 AWG (1.024mm), with an inner diameter of 5.56mm. You can find full information on them here: www.beadaholique.com/p-28308-artistic-wire-chain-maille-jump-rings-non-tarnish-copper-18-gaid-556mm110pc.aspx

Your left finger keeps blocking the view of where the ring goes through the other two... it would have been better to use two contrasting colors. This tut just confused me more :(

No that shouldn't be too big. The rings we're using have an AR of 5.5

Your hands kept getting in the way...you should find some longer noses pliers .. hemostats are my go to favorite for working with small projects like this...they have straight as well as curved hemostats
@doreestone44874 жыл бұрын
Holding the work in your left hand and using an open ring with a closed ring on it to connect to the previous 2 finished rings is much easier, much faster, and makes far more sense than fumbling with the work on the table. Usually I enjoy these videos and learn from them, but this one was confusing. This method made the weave much harder to work and the camera angle was bad because your hands were blocking the weave as you did it. But mostly, there is a much simpler way of doing this weave and this video used a horribly complex and awkward method.

Half Pesian 4 in 1 is worse lol. The way you have to hold both of them at the start is a royal pain. Makes my hands feel huge and I'm practicing on bigger rings. You can start this in different ways too. The one that finally clicked with me starts with three rings. See if you can find another video for it. Good luck!
