This was a very helpful video. You explained everything so well. I was not sure I could do something so intricate but you showed me it was all followed the patterns and layering. Thank you for taking the time to show how easy it is to make something so pretty!

A local craft shop ran a workshop on iris folding years ago, so that is how I learned. There are plenty of books at Amazon on the topic, and you can find free patterns on the Internet.

Like your iris folding technique. Others show you to go across where you go round and round. Like round and round better. It's easier to keep your place and you can stack up your pieces properly. Thank you.
