Hey Dirt Monkey! I love the content. My dumpster rental business (created this past year so still growing) is looking at adding house demolition as well as barns, pools, ect to our services. What’s the best way to advertise this to get the phone ringing to be able to bid jobs? I’d love any feedback
@jcslawntips8 жыл бұрын
Awesome, I really like how you interact with your customers. That looks like a good paying job, but also dangerous. Be safe, and if you get the job and if you have the time could you make another demolition video?

Ever find anything in these old houses? Antiques, misc things in attics, basements, etc.? I'd check the 1800's and early 1900's homes in the basement for secret areas and shit, never know.

Stan, I think its really cool that you did this walk through with the client. Do you ever get any resistance or hesitation when you ask them if you can record the process? Do you explain that you have a KZbin channel and people like me watch like crack addicts and can't wait for the next fix? Love you, man thanks for all that you do.
@Dirtmonkey8 жыл бұрын
+Gravel Back Mechanic Oh yeah. Once the video camera comes out-it changes the feel of the situation.

How much profit would be made potentially from that job for the contractor assuming all went as planned? What is your costs, how do you gauge how many dumpsters, man power , timeline etc?

I would like to see the process of removing a large retaining wall like that one behind the house
@Dirtmonkey8 жыл бұрын

Stucco siding is really only for the SW. Why they used it the NW is beyond me. A lot of homes being sold here are stucco (buy a cheap home). It really is a hindrance in that the homeowner needs to replace it with something that is more tolerant to the rains and the occasional snow. I don't know how many times I have had to go out and repair these. Job security I guess.
@LanceSheppard8 жыл бұрын
is houses like this one that have stucco siding less "messy" than a house with an alternative siding? looks like that front retaining wall would provide a sweet loading site, back the dump truck right up to it lol

U didn't tell us the way you calculated the numbers
@TheMrFinneth8 жыл бұрын
Sorry if this is too personal but after you're paid how much profit do you/your company get? Do you figure the raw cost and then add a certain percent? I'm interested in how exactly you came up with that number.
@Dirtmonkey8 жыл бұрын
+TheMrFinneth I like your time lapse videos by the way. The profits are calculated into the numbers.
