Hi Rachel, Your videos are amazing! I've been a DJ for over 40 years and am amazed at how well you impart your knowledge! I have transitioned from back in the day of vinyl and turntables, to mini discs, to CDs, and to lap top and digital files. So I thought that I'd ask if you could help me solve one problem. After transitioning to a laptop, I always used a CD mixer to bridge from laptop to XLR powered speakers. The CD mixer serves 2 purposes: acts as a backup in case of a laptop failure, and makes for an easy connection (via XLR cables) from laptop to speakers. Now I'd like to do away with the CD mixer but I cannot find a small mixer with XLR connections. I don't want to buy bluetooth speakers as I really like the size, weight, and sound of my FBTs. Do you have any recommendations? -Rich

Hi Rachel great video, however, I was wondering is there anyway to set a loop in a part of the song and when you play the song and it gets to where the loop it it would automatically engage on its own. I hope this makes sense. Thanks

Yes you can do a “Saved Loop”! It’s in the little menu that drops down from the Loops section! You can set up to 4 per track I believe! Hope that helps!

Hey Rachel, another great video. I really need to watch this a couple times. This is where I have trouble. I’m trying to understand how you went from 98 bpm to 125 using the loop. What were you doing to get it to speed up.

Its quite simple just keep hitting sync as the other deck regulates to its original bpm... you can also do this the opposite way and make it go slower instead, try it out!

Awesome! This 80s DJ just learned a new 'thing'!! I watched DigitalDJTips demo this, and was lost. I think I got the tap-the-sync button trick to walk the BPMs to the next song. Pretty cool... . I just recently played with the manual loop function, pressing the In & Out buttons, but found it can get tricky catching the first beat. It seems pressing IN just before beat you want usually works. Keep them coming!

When I used a Denon 6000 MKii, once you set a loop, you can hold the shift key down and rotate the platter to put the loop where you want it, so you don't have to worry about getting it on beat every time. Get the ol controller manual out and see if there's a way to do it on your controller.

I looks like once the "it's about to go down" loop was looping she hit the Sync button on the left deck and then sped up the right deck until she got to 125. It could have been done freehand, but it would have been tricky.

Virtual dj has a setting for pitch matching when engaged you can move one pitch fader and the other one will move simultaneously
