Don’t kill any broods, heal or place a warming stone by the curled up one and collect all cookbooks as soon as possible in your playthrough, return to moor and talk to him and he’ll give you a final cookbook that gives torrent a neat ability, too many channels farming for views with the wrong info or none at all, word of advice don’t kill npcs unless they’re clearly very threatening Dummy dummy

in the 7th cookbook given by Moore there's a consumable item recipe for Torrent called Spirit Raisin its said that "Feed to Torrent while riding to enable the spectral steed to push back enemies when breaking into a gallop. The effect ends after a short time."

I am too, I literally just finished this St. Trina's quest line and he was so nice. At least he helps you in the final battle, so you get some redemption there. Wait are you talking about Thiollier or Moore? Why do we always have to kill nice people/animals in video games?

@@sparklebullet3369 im not sure why you couldnt find him. His first location should be at Main Gate cross. I had talked to Moore once at main gate cross. I completed all the bosses, and missed Moore's questline. Then I just followed the steps in the video starting at 4:09, to fight and kill Moore.

If you did the last option you can get his bell bearing from his original spawn point at the Main Gate Cross site of grace.

Just to provide another experience. Here is exactly what I did to get his armor set and bell bearing. Speedrunning for it, I: 1) Followed the beginning of the video to a T: Talk to Moore, Thiollier, Moore, Thiollier. 2) Defeat Rellana, approach the Black Keep 3) Return to Moore, say "Remain sad, forever." 4) Teleport to High Road Cross, ride to church 5) Loot his dead body for the armor set and bell bearing Because we don't exactly know what triggers what, I'll also mentioned that I exhausted Ansbach's, Freyja, Leda's, and Hornsent's dialogue and summoned Leda for the Rellana fight. Just in case these things are relevant for the people who are struggling. Glhf and Fromsoft, please design your quests differently

if you didnt do the steps before breaking miquellas great rune u can kill one of the foragers, he will then invade you and you can kill him for the armor and shield. (if he doesent invade u after killing one go back and talk to him and kill another after, he invaded me after killing 2.)

You don't summon him he is a summon against you in a later boss fight if you tell him to put it behind him

I did most of the map before this and killed mesmer. I also accidentally killed one cook book pest before talking to him. After telling him to be sad he then disapeared and never invaded me. All pests disapeared and i lost out on the books and his armor set

You don’t need to beat Mesmer to get the armor. As long as you did his quest up to the point of the rune breaking, you can talk to him and suggest to be sad forever. Then go to the site of grace after Rellana and head to the church. His armor will be in the same spot you showed.

Update for anyone concerned, you do NOT need to beat messmer after telling moore to stay sad, you just need to beat the dancing lion and go to the mentioned cathedral to get the armor

I can't get his cookbook cause I went exploring for maps and the great ruin broke, so now he won't give it to me. I'm sorry this game is not a masterpiece. It's a frustrating mess. Now I have to do another playthrough of the base game and dlc to get a cook book? It took me almost 2 years to beat the base game. Why would you make quest like this? I paid full price for both games I want all the stuff I paid for. I'm not starting over this is trash. That's why I should be able to save the game so this stuff doesn't happen. 3 out 5 experience. Witcher 3 will always be light years better over 800 awards.
