Wet manicure has nothing to do with whether or not you use cuticle softener. A wet manicure the client soaks their hands in soapy water to soften the cuticles before you trim them back - a dry manicure they do not. You shouldn’t do a wet manicure process if you’re using gel, acrylic, or other enhancements.
