Do you like the beetles builder gel that you used to lengthen your nails? I want a builder in a bottle that's not super thick for over top my soft gel gel x nails. I get the premade French tip ones and they're pretty sturdy on their own but I'm an active SAHM and need something to just help strengthen a tiny bit more. I don't want to build. Literally just want to be able to paint on a layer maybe 2 if necessary and know that they're strong enough for my everyday life. Also have you ever tried any of the builder top coats? I've seen a few of those floating around lately and I'm curious if they actually provide strength at all and or at encapsulates?

How do you keep your natural nails from getting bent at that length? My where the same length and I use gel on mine but every time I’m cleaning counter tops my nails would hit where the counter top and wall meet and they would bend sometimes causing the gel to become brittle or chip 😭

Are you not worried about developing allergies with these cheaper amazon gels? I really want to try them but I am sticking to Gelish, OPI, and DND which are sold at Secret Nail Supply in Vancouver, out of fear. I take full precautions such as gloves and being super clean with applications but everything eventually gets kinda sticky. This look was gorge.

I think you are smart. I am a DIYer and try to be really careful but you know how it is…. So I try to compensate by at least not buying cheap gel to account for my being an amateur. Another trick is to use sunscreen and liquid latex to protect from the lamp and any flooding.

If you use the peel off polish, how long will it last before you decide to change it? Is the removal process the same as removing regular gel?
@TheBeautyVault8 ай бұрын
if i’m careful not to constantly get my hands wet, up to 2.5 weeks. the removal process is similar to removing press ons, you’ll see it in my next video. :)

And another thing-I can NOT get the sticky nail form things to fit properly under my nails. You know, the sticky foils where you can add length on your natural nails? I have maneuvered mine every which way but I always have a gap on the side wall of each nail. Any suggestions? Thanks!❤
@TheBeautyVault9 ай бұрын
i have forms that give me a similar issue and what i do is i cut a little slit in the form at the spot where it meets the sides of my nails and trim a bit off if i need to then readjust them under my nail. it seems to help close up that gap. easier shown than explained through text but hopefully you know what i mean! :)
