It's great to watch this I finally can steer in both directions and you emphasize it perfectly it takes a long time and it's great to finally see a video of someone explaining just how difficult it is, plus I really like the rudder only and elevator only for learning...it's so lovely when you can finally steer the rolling harrier.

Hi Kobe. A big thanks for your tutorials, especially this one! Been trying the darn maneuver for ages (yes, woz born just past mid last century...), now made some real progress thanks to your pointers. Like your style, keep cool!

Thanks for your teachings. I realized I was one of many doing too much of everything. Really liked breakdowns doing only elev then rudder. I tried it (before this video), without being sure if that's a good approach.

Good video. What plane should I use to learn from scratch in Real Flight 9.5? Cheers

I'd like to import that laser. I use the edge 540 or the extra 300 but I've had a couple of lasers. And they don't come stock in the Sim.

It's somewhere on realflight forums for you to download, but I found that the default PAU Edge is similarly good at 3d flight.

Is the feeling of flying realistic against reality in the simulator? like if I fly an Extra 300 78" in the simulator, is it the same in reality then or is it very different?

Well, in the beginning you said it yourself, high alpha results in no wind over the wings so basically ailerons input would be pointless without some sort of air. And that air comes from the prop right? No question we (I) don't doubt your flying skills. Your sim is however, quite unrealistic to the real world. Your rolls are very prices which never happens in a high alpha angle. Wings are stalled so you get that muscly roll which also comes back to the fact that in such a high alpha, when the plans is on the edge (knife edge), there is really nothing sustaining from falling with just elevator input and so in real world, without rudder, the plane will fall quite a bit. Awesome skills. Thank you.

Same here, too much talking and very less actual content that's useful. But honestly, I loved his flying, and get the fact that it's a tough move and needs a lot of practice.
