Ah, classic DIY-ing: in order to make a project for free, we will need 5000€ laser and 300€/year software But the serious question be, how do you deal with hazardous fumes while cutting? Doesn't seem like this room is properly vented

Just use the link in the video description and you get 400$ off ;-)

When you finish the cutting, keep the pieces still in their place and then use the spray glue. That way when you remove the disposable parts you will have clean inserts that are not covered with glue.
@ETOE8 ай бұрын
I wish I had done this. Decided last minute to go with spray adhesive so keeping the inserts is very helpful.

I work IT and we changed a lot of network equipment... kept the foam and did exactly that with my leather working tool drawer... only I did it by hand, I dont have a laser cuter... one day maybe!

Wonderfully useful video. I do similar things with the foam recycled from my own packages. Minus the laser cutter. Sure it might take a bit more time, but the end result is the same. A properly organized storage solution! If you value organization, then it is worth the time to do it, with or without the expense of a laser cutter. One thing I do add is I use a contrasting color of thin foam between layers to make the cutouts more visible.

My parcels only arrive with a dozen or so mini air bags in them. Not really sure I'd want to try cutting those with a laser. On a side note, I've really been interested in a tabletop laser. I'm just waiting until they can cut at least 2.5mm thick steel.

The problem you will run into are the power outlets on your table top if you like to cut steel ;-)

Usually, i like your videos. But these one is useless for us mortals. Maybe you could have added that this video is only aimed at professionals. But then, they don't need your video. So.... Why?
