My Dog! Just what I needed. I’m having trouble triggering the step back when I attack the basket, sometimes they just pull up instead of stepping back smh. Lateral movement step backs are easier for me to trigger for some reason.

Came here to let y’all both know that you can avoid the pull up by doing the stepback as a double throw (like skill dunk or euro.)Takes a bit to get used to but I haven’t pulled up by mistake since.

when trying to attack the basket i want to do a quick step back but it always does a pull up jumper whenever i have the left stick pointing up and the right stick pointing down… any ideas on how to fix that? 2k23 would result in a step back but not in 2k24

@@treya468 everything is on default no settings changed. Are you getting a pull up jumper instead? Try flick(don’t actually flick it and let it go, think of a switch back dribble animation) right then holding left while moving
