Thickness of partition should be kept 30 mm if using marble/grnaite usually come in 15-16 mm so need two marble to achieve thickness You can use either of that but marble is preferred as its cost effective and high in strength

Drawers channels are covered by case so dont need to celan inside mechanism.. drawers can be cleaned as usual
