I love money tricks! I have the four quarters $1 Bill and the Cig/pencil through the quarter. For a bit of extra realism I ask them for a quarter and draw an X on it with a red sharpie and have one on my trick coin as well. Thanks for the tutorial.

***** look magicians have been doing things like this for years look up uv nightshades and daniel garcias greed. magicians cut up money all the time to make illusions and they sell bills that have been modified all the time. it is not illegal to cut up cash it is illegal to modify the value of the cash lets say to make a $10 into a $100 with the intent of fraud. but to cut a chunk of a bill off is not illegal. everything you guys are saying is your personal opinion I have done the proper research and made many phone calls before posting this video it is not illegal. do your research!!!!!

Here's what ticks me off. This man has a full time job and is a full time college student. On top of that, he takes HIS time to do these videos to show us how to do simple magic tricks. They are cool and pretty simple to do. If you don't want to watch, then don't watch, but why make negative comments? All you're doing to showing how little appreciation you have for those that do things for others. I greatly appreciate these videos and have astounded more than one person with these tricks. The original effect is by a guy named Paul Harris, a man considered as the father of modern close up magic. He is stealing from Paul's pockets by revealing these. IS that cool? In that neat to you? When it comes to defacing currency it's pretty much only considered defacement when you try to alter the currency to make it worth more than it really is.. Trying to turn a 1 dollar into a 10 for example. This is destroying part of the bill but it doesn't change the value. So long as the serial numbers are intact and the money hasn't been changed to represent a bigger value, normally the government doesn't care.

I like this. Tip: Try using double stick tape instead of the bandage. The magnet sticks to it. Also,use a bit of a rubbing motion, as to suggest pushing up the shades. Not so much as a flick. Of course the rubbing motion is masking the secret move. Try it. Play around with it to get the right timing and desired effect. Good job on your gimmick.

This is an awesome trick and I own it but some trick no matter how good they are some trick are not meant for the real world. Usually when I performed this trick I put two fingers over George Washington face, removing the gimmick face. So that the gimmick doesn't fall of, as it happen so many times and seen here in your video, Awesome trick though.

What I would do is cut it out before you do the trick, then draw the shades on his forehead instead of across his face. That way you can set it up after you're done drawing them.

I have got a better idea. Instead of cutting the bill you can draw the glasses on a paper and cut it out. Then use that magnetic thing and show that you have really lifted his shades.
